Take the leap.

The other day, my 2-year-old and I went to an indoor play zone and trampoline park.

He was mildly unimpressed with the trampolines, but to my surprise, he loved the foam pits. (Which I've literally had nightmares about since I was a kid...)

There was one giant foam pit that had a balance beam spanning across it. He watched as a kid walked out across into the middle of the beam and then jumped down into the pit.

Can you guess what we did for the next 30 minutes? 😜

Greyson was nervous at first and wanted to hold my hand. It took him a long time to work up the courage to take that first step off of the beam. But then after that initial jump, there was no stopping him.

(Can you sense the business metaphor coming? 😉)

As entrepreneurs, there are a lot of leaps we need to take - not discounting that first giant leap of even starting a business, in the first place.

There are the big leaps like deciding to quit your day job or investing in a $30,000 mastermind...

And there are the smaller leaps that we take each and every day, like choosing to launch a new offer, showing up Live on social media, opening up and letting people see who we are and showing them what we've put our hearts and souls into building with our businesses.

Sometimes those leaps don't turn out quite the way we hoped. Sometimes the landings are a little hard to stick and we have to work to get back up again.

But if you never step forward, you'll always be in the same place.

Is there a step you're hesitating on taking today? I'd like to encourage you to explore what's holding you back from taking it - is it a good reason (not all leaps should be taken blindly...) or is it just fear?

And with that...
